| Boeing MRO to be Completed by December 2012: Patterson |

RAISING high hopes investors about the take-off of MIHAN project, Gerald J Patterson, Director of India MRO, Boeing, said That the construction of Boeing MRO would be completed by December 2012.
Patterson was interacting with Nandkumar Jantre, Vice- Chairman and Managing Director ( VCMD) of MADC at central facility Building on Thursday. He said that all the operation plans have been prepared and the construction work for same has been approved.
At present, the work of boundary wall, roadwork, batching plant, and erection of site offi8ce and other initial process of construction are under way.
Jantre assured Patterson that the taxi runway would be completed within the stipulated period and there was nothing to worry about it.
S V Chahande, Chief Engineer of MDAC Ltd, Nagpur and other senior officers were present the meeting. For smooth functioning of the project M/s Boeing would be hiring office space at MADC’s central facility Building soon.
This will be first MRO of Boeing in India and Nagpur facility will have two hangers in which two Boeing 787 or four smaller plan can be parked and repaired at the same time. Nagpur was Selected due to its topography, location advantage.
Jantre also met few investors of MIHAN SEZ including M/s Shapoorji Pallonji & Co Ltd, M/s caliber point, M/s TAL Manufacturing, Solution Ltd, M/s Jaypar, M/s Ebix Software Asia SEZ Ltd etc. He gave patient hearing to there views and suggestion on partnering for strong foundation for the success of MIHAN project .
Jantre assured the invertors that full co-operation would be extended from MADC including the power supply to be fully functional shortly.
Jantre also visiting captive power plant being developed by Abhijeet MADC Nagpur Energy Private Limited and took review of the work. He directed MADC officials to be proactive in their approach toward the investors and take extra step in providing all necessary assistance.
