| CM to sign MoU with Infosys on Feb 28 |

MADAN informed, Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan would sign memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Infosys on February 28, 2012, for setting up development centre in MIHAN-SEZ. Covering an area of 120 acres of land, Infosys has lined up investment of Rs 450 crore. It would provide employment to 14,000 professionals. Other giants in IT industry HCL Technologies and Wipro too would set up their base in MIHAN project, he said. The infrastructure development like road, water, power has been completed in the project so that companies would get cosy environment to roll out their services.
Madan was talking on the sidelines of the IT and ITeS event Nagpur Callong—hosted by VED in city on Friday.
Replying to a query, Madan said, discussion of Defence Ministry Secretary and Civil Aviation Secretary was underway for the 278 hectares of land reserved for Gajraj Project which presently is under the Defence Ministry. The issue would be resolved soon. Civil Aviation and Defence Secretary is holding rounds of discussion and soon the issue would be resolved, he said. |
